Tania Prochilo, Owner
I have a passion for health and fitness, and love to share that passion with each one of my clients.
I am a Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer certified with the Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) for more than 20 years. I launched Fitness Fusion, LLC after moving to New Canaan, CT in the summer of 2010.
My experience includes working at well-known gyms such as The New York Health & Racquet Club in New York and Sports Club LA in Los Angeles, clubs in London and Tokyo, and with my former endeavor GT Fitness, which I operated in Westchester, NY for five years before moving abroad in 2005.
Personally, I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and a neurotic labradoodle.
At Fitness Fusion, each session is unique
Adhering to the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) philosophy and utilizing a variety of proven disciplines and exercise formats like those listed below, no two sessions are the same.
Tabata: Fast-paced bursts of energy in eight four-minute rounds.
Ladder: Pace yourself, because this gets serious! 12 rounds that progressively increase cardio and resistance load by adding a new exercise to each successive round.
Metabolic Conditioning (MetCon): A training method involving a very high work rate, using exercises designed to burn more calories during your workout and maximize calories burned post-workout.
Core-Cardio Conditioning (Triple C): Focused core exercises combined with heart-thumping cardio and low-weight/high-rep resistance training.
Resistance Intervals: Traditional set and rep-based workout, and killer to boot.
Circuit Training: Expertly stringing together exercises into pre-set ‘circuits,’ which are executed again and again and again…(you get the point)
Fitness Fusion Specials: This is where the creativity really revs up. Maybe some of the above formats mixed and matched together, maybe something entirely different. Always HIIT-based and always challenging.
